Drake has decided to stop following Kanye West on Instagram. The “In My Feelings” hitmaker reportedly hit the unfollow button on the “Donda” artist’s page after five years following him amid their longtime feud.

The 34-year-old Canadian-born rapper was caught making a big social media move against Ye on Monday, October 18. Fans noticed that the “Certified Love Boy” artist unfollowed Ye after Ye received approval from a Los Angeles judge to change his name due to “personal reasons” and debuted his new haircut on his Instagram account.

This is the latest saga in their ongoing feud. Last month, following the release of Certified Lover Boy, Drake leaked Ye’s unreleased André 3000 collaboration, “Life of the Party,” on which Kanye calls out Drake by name.

The OVO boss took shots at Ye on his CLB track “7am on Bridle Path.” “You over there in denial / We not neck and neck / It’s been a lot of years since we seen you comin’ correct,” raps Drizzy, who also responded to Kanye sharing his home address on Instagram: “Give that address to your driver / Make it your destination / Instead of just a post out of desperation.”

Kanye was willing to do the Verzuz,” he said. “He wanted to battle Drake. I left that up to them, and that’s what I told to Timb, as well. I was like, ‘Yo, they have to bring that to the table.’ They would have to agree to do that. Kanye was ready, but I don’t know where that’s at now. I’m still leaving it on them.”

Though so, Drake apparently still wants to keep up with Ye slightly as he’s still following Ye’s fan page called @KanyeDoingThings. As for Ye, he’s currently only following people with black screens as their avatars and since the former “Degrassi: The Next Generation” star has his son Adonis as his picture, he’s not being followed by Ye.

The ‘In My Feelings’ hitmaker reportedly hits the unfollow button on the ‘Donda’ artist’s Instagram page after his nemesis legally changed his name to ‘Ye’ and debuts his new haircut.

Drake and Ye’s once-dormant beef was revived in August after Drake threw a shot at Ye on the Trippie Redd song “Betrayal” with, “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know/Forty-five, forty-four, let it go. Ye ain’t changin’ shit for me, it’s set in stone.”

Kanye appeared frustrated Drake was encroaching on his Donda release date and fired back on Twitter, “I live for this,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. I’ve been fucked with by nerd ass jock n-ggas like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you.”

The two industry titans have a complicated history that grew even messier this year as they allegedly battled for album release real estate.

As for Kanye, he doesn’t follow Drake. The majority of the nearly 7,000 people he follows have profile icons that match his all-black Donda album cover.

This happened shortly after it was announced that Kanye had legally changed his name to “Ye” and posted an Instagram photo of his bizarre new haircut with patches of shaved hair.

Ye wound up delivering Donda on August 29, while Certified Lover Boy hit streaming platforms on September 3. The album remained at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks.

Drake and Ye have been exchanging snubs over the years. Drake’s social media gesture became the latest saga in their ongoing cold war. In September, following the release of “Certified Lover Boy”, Drake leaked Ye’s unreleased Andre 3000 a.k.a. Andre Benjamin collaboration, “Life of the Party”, on which Ye called out Drake.
