According to several confirmed reports, Pooh Shiesty has turned himself in connection to a shooting that occurred back in May ay Miami’s King Of Diamonds.
Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams, was allegedly taken for $40K in cash, according to club attendees, to which Shiesty returned to the club on the night of May 29th firing a weapon into the club. Shiesty denied those claims, stating on IG, “False allegations nothing never been took from me.”
A well-known rapper has been arrested, accused of shooting a security guard at a Miami gentleman’s club.
According to police, 22-year-old Lontrell Williams, who goes by the stage name Pooh Shiesty, was performing at King of Diamonds Miami at 7020 Northwest 72nd Avenue when someone knocked money out of his back pocket.
A crowd jumped in trying to grab the loose cash, and that’s when Williams reportedly brandished a gun.
As he was being escorted out by the security guard, Williams allegedly fired a single shot, hitting the guard in the ankle, police said.
The incident happened on May 30 at approximately 3:45 a.m.
According to an arrest report, the victim told police he jumped out of the way when he saw the gun, and that is what saved him from being shot in the torso.
A witness told police he saw Williams pass the gun to an unknown man, and that man fled the scene, according to the report.
Police said no gun or shell casings were found at the scene.
Footage of the incident during Memorial Day weekend was posted on Instagram. It shows the rapper openly carrying a gun.
Shiesty was allegedly robbed of $40,000 while performing at the club, according to Hot97.
Shiesty, 22, is known for his hit “Back in Blood” and his debut commercial mixtape, Shiesty Season.
According to TMZ, witnesses saw Pooh be escorted out of the club when he got into an argument with a security guard. The dispute between the two was over money missing from Pooh’s jeans. Not long after the incident kicked off, Pooh let off a warning shot. The bullet wound up hitting a security guard in the ankle.
According to court documents, the security guard told police he was attempted to escort Pooh out of the club after his show when someone attempted to grab stray dollar bills from the rapper’s back pocket. The handling angered Pooh, who then got back on stage at the Miami strip club and publicly wanted to know who attempted to steal from him.
The security guard says he saw Pooh’s gun in his waistband and warned Pooh to hide it and not take it out. He attempted again to escort Pooh from the strip club safely but then Pooh opened fire, shooting back into the area and hitting the guard in the ankle. The guard claims by attempting to dive out of the way, he’s lucky to only have been shot in the ankle.
The incident is the second major arrest for Pooh in recent months. Last October, the “Back In Blood” star was arrested following an incident where he allegedly shot a man during a botched sneaker transaction. The shooting, which took place in Bay Harbor, Florida, left two men wounded. He was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and theft in the case which has yet to be resolved.
Pooh was granted a $10,000 bond in the KOD shooting case but will remain behind bars until Thursday (June 10), when he’s scheduled to appear in court on the Bay Harbor shooting case. He previously pleaded not guilty to those charges.
